ABQ Poker Tour

Only a few weeks left.  I'm 11.  Need to get points!  Anyway, 23 showed up and we had 3 tables.  I got tangled up in a hand against the new guy, Mr.

There were plenty of Enchiladas!  I hope everyone enjoyed them!  Beans and queso were also served.  We had 16 players show up.  Art stormed out mummbling something about "donkeys".  For, me it was a pretty uneventful night, I think I won two hands.  The second with Aces against Louis, who has left to NC for a job.  Judd took it down, Partap 2nd, coach 3rd, John 4th, and Yvonne 5th.

Players: Eliseo, Chris, Yvonne, Kevin, Louis, Ryan, John, Art, TK, Sean, Coach, Brad, Judd, Qtip, Matt R., and Partap. 

Show up early!  Why?  Because my wife is doing a kind of Thanksgiving Special and it ain't turkey and stuffing!  We gonna do it up Mexican style, so come with a bit of an appetite and early because it may be all gone by the time the cards fly!  I recommend 7:30 pm for food and maybe we can get cards flying closer to 8pm rather than 9pm this time.  Consder it a bribe!

Someone recommended I host 3 weeks in a row.  But, sorry, my refrigerators are going to be full of left overs, so no beer fridge available.  Who can host on that Saturday?

Well, 18 showed up to play some poker.  Indy won over Tenessee and I finished 4th.  Not exactly the curse I was trying to break as host, but it will due.  Unfortunately with this place, I move from 10th to 11th?  So, I will have to keep on placing.  I don't really recall any hands, since I was a bit tired.  Amy wanted me to write about some hand she won, I believe with quads.  But, you can tell me all you want, however I will not remember unless I actually see it. I am a visual learner not auditory.  There was queso and green chili stew.  Everyone seemed to enjoy it.  What I can tell you is, that Yvonne came to the final 9 with the short stack and came back to take 2nd, great come back.  Qtip took it down, Yvonne 2nd, Ryan 3rd, Eliseo 4th, and Amy 5th. 

The players who showed up were, Eliseo, Kevin, Evans, TK, Yvonne, Chris, Qtip, Louis, Art, Amy, Partap, Aaron, Alan, Coach, Brad, Ryan, John, and Sean.  

Ryan and Becca hosted again.  There was football on this time no going "Phish".  Seventeen players showed up and play started a little after 8pm as promised.  The game ended early, as Art accumulated chips fast and had a mega stack.  I had a few good hands tonight and was able to finish third.  The first hand was agains Chris.  There were about four callers at 50/100.  The flop came 3-6-9.  I checked, Chris bet, Brad, called and everyone else folded.  I called.  The turn was a 9.  Brad checked, I bet something like 600 and Chris called, Brad folded.  Then the river came a 7.  I bet 3000.  Chris thought a while and called.  He had a 9 for trip 9's.  I had pocket 3's for the boat.  Another hand, Chris went all in for 2200, Ryan went in for 1100, Brad called.  I looked down at A-J and thought a bit, did some math, and called.  Glad I did, because the flop came A-A-9.  Brad checked and I

Reiss "the Beast" vs. Farber "Panda" WTF!?  Heads up play started at 7pm.  They have been pretty even all night until recently in which Reiss has a 3-1 chip lead.  The winner gets $8 million and second place $5 million.  Tonight the winner will get his bracelet.
