We are a group of players who play for the love of the game!

We have been around for 20+ years!

All are welcome! Tim, aka AZ, is the "MAN"! He keeps it all going smoothly and efficiently!

Remember that he makes all the calls if there are issues.

Some basic rules:

Dealer is number 1 seat to start.
A small and big blind are paid every hand.
When we move a player, we high card to see who goes.
When we table up, we high card to see who deals.
One card shown when dealt, continue dealing, use shown card as burn card, replaced card gets dealt last.
Two cards shown. Then it's misdeal and redeal.

Buy-in is $20 and total chip count is based upon point standings.  RSVPs are recommended to determine if we are really going to have 39 people show up and play.

We at nacho bar and played some poker.  Not remembering many hands these days.  Lost my focus I guess.  The last hand was interesting as I was dominated about 6:1 by Arty.  He raised on the button, I went all in with QT and he called and turned over pocket 5's.  The flop came 5-8-9, then the J hit, I made the straight.  Then a 5 on the river for quads.  Lost another race.  Took second.  Looking for that next win.
