Week 5 - My House AGAIN!

Sixteen players showed up to play.  There was plenty of snacks and everyone ate a lot of queso this time, which is good, don't want many left overs.  The Guajardo's played, Eliseo, Sante, and Starr.  I picked up Aces on the first hand with no callers after a 4 bet, 200.  That was how the rest of the night went for me.  I was getting lots of Aces that didn't go anywhere.  I picked up Sante from work so he could play and made back for 200/400 binds.  Sante got into a hand against TK in which the flop was Q-K-9 and TK bet out.  The betting got out of hand in this hand.  Sante called TK down with Q-Ten and made two pair on the river against TK's A-Q.  We all thought for sure that somebody had a straight the way the betting went.  But, Sante did not hit anything else the rest of the night and was eliminated early.  Sean and Ilana got into a hand, in which Illana raised.  Sean called and the flop came diamond-diamon-heart, don't remember specific cards.  Then the turn brought a another diamond.  Ilana was betting and Sean was calling all the way down to the river.  Sean re-raised the river and made the statement, "Sorry Babe!" with nut flush Ace-6 diamonds.  Starr had a few good hands, but did not sustain as I doubled up against her with a short stack with 4-8 on the big blind at 300/600. I played short stacked all night and finished 7th.  The final five were Tim M. who just couldn't make anything happen at the final table.  Yvonne, played tough and got unlucky against Brad, who made two pair against her top pair finishing 4th.  Sean got all-in with A-Ten against Brad who called with pocket K's.  Brad flopped another K making a set, but nothing was out there for Sean, so he was eliminated in 3rd.  Gabe and Brad went heads up.  Brad had the chip lead and was able to finish with a 2-5 against a J-8.  Both called and saw the flop.  The flop was a 5-J-7.  Gabe went all-in and Brad called and made a 5 on the turn, ending the heads up.  Gabe second and Brad first.
