Week 15/week 2 at Eliseo's

Fifteen players showed up.  Those 15 were able to partake of some fresh green chile in a wonderfully tasty green chile stew my wife made at my request.  The chile was freshly picked from around a farm in Portales on Sunday, the same day I purchased it and had it roasted.  It is tasty and just hot enough.  There was Dion's pizza, chips, my usual queso, and cookies.  Too bad for you poor saps who didn't show up!  I don't think I will host anymore as I can't seem to break the top five when I do host.  I am always knocked out early!  I think I played five total hands and folded up until first chip up, when I went all-in against "The Thrill Seeker" a.k.a. coach a.k.a. Steve.  Chris was plagued by 9's up until the end.  He had pocket Aces and Brad all-in, Brad was holding pocket 9's and flopped a 9 and rivered a 9 for quads.  Brad was nearly out at that point and suddenly had more chips than me, 5000+.   Later, Chris was knocked out by Kevin who had A-9, Chris was holding A-K.  Kevin flopped a 9 and nothing to help Chris.  Yvonne was at the final 9, but was short stacked.  She got down to being almost blinded out and didn't call when T.S. went all in.  Yvonne to our shock folded leaving herself with 400.  She showed the 2-9 and the we ran the flop to show that she would have cracked Aces with a four flush.  She was out the next hand, not being able to pair the board.  The battles continued and it was a quick final five, since T.S. was moving and betting.  Brian went out in fifth, Sean in fourth, Thrill Seeker a.k.a. Steve in third after being called down by Louis, Kevin finished 2nd, and Louis took it down.

Fifteen Players were:  Eliseo, Kevin, TK, Brian, Starr, Sante, Qtip, Brad, Steve "The Thrill Seeker", Sean, Ryan, Chris, Yvonne, John, and Louis.
