Week 14 - A Night of Racial Slurs and Reverse-Parjackings

We started, I believe with 18 players.  At the outer table, not the pool table, it was Kevin, Steve, Ryan, Judd (at the nut seat), Chris (thanks for hosting), Partap, Blanchard, TK and me.  Steve apparently had a "date night" and was playing wildly, busted out early.  Just a warning Steve, we have seen this bit before, we call it the matrix! Steve's version was minus the all-in's up until he got short-handed.  Let's see, I was supposed to write about some hand, I can't remember that Ryan slow played against me, Judd can you help out with that!  But, mostly Judd and Ryan picked on Partap all night.  Reversing par-jacking's by Judd and Ryan saying something about driving through black neighborhoods, and then there was a bit about someone's daughter's mouth full of something?  It was a big blur of slurs!  I don't recall!  There was some talk about Tiger Woods and who he is banging and serious conversations about baseball.  Something about the Yankee's season being over, I don't know.  But, we laughed a lot, even though Judd was robbing us blind.  I was under 2,000 at the first break.  After the break TK went all in and I called.  I turned over 10-4, I was on the big with less than 2 1/2 big blinds, so I called.  TK turned over A-10.  So, I was dominated.  A 10 did come on the flop and two other cards I don't recall, but I called for a 4 as the turn was turned over and a 4 came.  So, I doubled up and grinded for the rest of the night.

Oh and that hand was, that Ryan slow played pocket A's against me.  I tried to get creative and play a 4-7 and it hit 4-5-5.  Then a 7 came off and a 3.  Ryan was fortunate the board had paired.

So, I did however, make it to the final table, short stacked and never having more than 4,000.  At the final table were a couple new faces: TK, Qtip, New Person (Sorry I don't know her name), Art, Kevin, Judd, Ryan, Blanchard, Amy, and me.  We played down to five fairly quickly.  But, the final five moved chips around and played for a long time.  I managed to get up to about 10,000 in chips, but the table was a little chip heavy on one side, Judd side.  Amy took 5th just before final chip up.  Then Qtip went out against Judd.  I hung around for a little while, at one point when the blinds were 1,000/2,000, I went all in on the big blind with 4,000 in the dark and Judd called.  He had Ace-little and I had Q-8.  My Queen hit on the flop.  so, I doubled up.  That is true darkness there Ryan, not the fake darkness.  But was shortly knocked out with A-J against Judd who had a 7-9 and made a straight on the board.  TK went heads up against Judd.  Judd got A-K and TK and K came out on the flop.  TK went all-in Judd called. TK turned over 8-9.  There was a K-8-Ten on the board.  TK turned an 8 to get two pair and doubled up.  The next hand TK went all in and Judd called.  TK turned over A-9 and Judd turned over pocket K-K.  Nothing helped TK and it was over.  So, TK finished 2nd and Judd took it down.
