Week 10 - Quick Summary

Chris & Yvonne hosted at their new place.  They had the TV's setup and pizza for the NFL season opener, Broncos vs. Ravens.  I was more focused on the game, therefore do not really remember any hands up until the final seven or so.  I know that I knocked out Tim Mac, flopping a straight with A-Q after he went all in.  Kevin called and I went all in after the flop.  Kevin folded and Tim was out.  Sorry Tim!  I got into a hand with Partap in which I had K-10 of hearts and the flop came Ah-Jh-9d.  I had a straight draw, flush draw, and royal flush draw.  Partap was betting and I wasn't going anywhere.  I called all of his bets, on the flop and the turn.  Then raised him all in on the river when a 6 of hearts came off.  He called my all in with a 3h-8h.  I had a lot of chips with 8 players remaining, but couldn't get anything going.  I was getting good cards, but no flops to match.  I was calling and raising, but fell short after getting into a hand with Judd in which I had top pair and he had a flush draw.  I limped in and Judd raised preflop. I called.  The flop came off with two spades and a club, J-6-8.  I had top pair with a J-10 in my hand and was planning on going all in.  Judd bet 5000 with his flush draw and I went all in for 2000 more.  He of course called and hit a K, he had K-10 spades on the turn and that was all she wrote for me.  The hand of the night was of course when there were five remianing and Kevin went all in with a fair amount of chips.  Judd called and Kevin turned over A-9.  Judd turned over 3h-6h.  Two hearts on the flop and a diamond, then the turn and river a heart.  Kevin didn't have a heart and was eliminated by the Jubb Jubb!  Yvonne finished 4th and the three remaining were Art, Ryan, and Judd.  I left, but enjoyed watching the game and seeing Peyton throw 7 touchdown passes.  I hope the Broncos can keep up the scoring for the rest of the season!
